Director's Meeting

A meeting of the Director’s of the Lynchburg Glass Corporation was held in the Director's Room of the Peoples National Bank, Tuesday, August 18th [1925] at 10 A. M. with the following present:

J. D. Owen
John Victor
C. L. Snidow
R. C. Watts
C. M. Guggenheimer
W. H. Loyd

The President stated that the object of the meeting was to decide on the policy of paying up the balance of the obligations of the Company and to act on information received from the Attorney's of the Chatham & Phenix National Bank & Trust Company asking what disposition would be made of their loan following the sale of the Seventy Five one thousand dollar First Mortgage Bonds held by the Bank as collateral at the price of $1,000 at public auction.

After seeking legal advice of attorney H. M. Sackett, it was the unanimous opinion of the Board that no action should be taken at present and the Officers were instructed not to pay out any more of the Company's funds with the exception of necessary payroll, salaries and cash items needed in shipping and packing the finished stock of insulators.

There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
